The pattern of this compact drawing was created by using astrological signs and planetary symbols to form a musical configuration. Different size pen widths add a perceptual vibrancy and vitality to the black-and-white arrangement.
The astrology series used each astrological symbol as a design starting point and the symbol of its ruling planet as a design counterpoint. The series was developed between 1981 and 1985.
